IN THE DESCRIPTION SECTION, THIS IS YOUR ASSIGNMENT:

You need to write a 45-60 second speech about your element for our hosts to read while you do the catwalk across our Nitschmann Middle School Auditorium Stage.  This will take place on Wednesday, December 20th.

TIPS ON YOUR SPEECH:

1.  Include description of the most interesting properties of your element.

2.  Include the uses of your element in the world.

3.  Include local companies that use your element.

​

Example:  Sporting the element sodium, Mr. Amen is wearing a new metallic tie with 1 dot on it representing 1 electron on his outer shell!  He is willing to bond with any nonmetal on the planet.  While both malleable and ductile, he can be salty when bonded with chlorine.  Fun fact for you.  When super-heated he can react explosively with pure H2O.  Ladies and gentlemen, give your applause to Sodium!
